Workshop: Plotting with Chris McQueer

November 25 | 11:00 - 13:00

Glasgow Adults Workshop Scots, Scottish Writers

Chris McQueer is that guy oan Twitter who writes short stories, but how does he get his inspiration? As part of Book Week Scotland, the best-selling author of Hings will be hosting a workshop on how to turn the weird and wonderful events of day-to-day life into full, hilarious stories. How about the neighbour whose shed became the city's hottest club? Or the pain-in-the-arse moth that was actually trying to take over humans? Chris will share the inspiration of his own stories and workshop new plots with the group; by the end of it, that weird thing that happened on the work night out the other week might be your next big story! You don't need any experience, just an itch to write. Free but ticketed. Spaces are limited. All attendees will also get a free copy of a 404 book! (Please note this event is now sold out.)
