Following on from the success of Detroit 67 and Memphis 68, the third book in Stuart Cosgrove's Soul Trilogy, Harlem 69: The Future of Soul, is just published. It is 1969 Harlem and the cast of characters includes King Curtis, Aretha Franklin, Donny Hathaway and Jimi Hendrix, to name but a few. Stuart is well known as the presenter of Scotland's most popular radio show, Off the Ball. With his Soul Trilogy he has also established a reputation as a peerless chronicler of black American music and its social context. Early booking is advised.
