Rebels Then; Rebels Now - Jacobite and Modern Voices of Rebellion

November 22 | 18:00 - 20:00

Inverness Adults Panel Event / Author Reading, Spoken Word / Performance Poetry / Slam History, Scottish Writers

An evening of two halves: first, volunteers and staff from National Trust for Scotland's Culloden Battlefield will read extracts from original Jacobite source material, featuring male and female rebel voices. After a break for a buffet, all provided free, local writers will read their own reflections on rebellion, inspired by the Jacobite stimuli and generated during a free creative writing workshop ahead of Book Week Scotland. Join us for an evening of celebrating both our heritage and our creative voices, in words.

Free (unticketed)
