Nat Raha, a poet and editor of the Radical Transfeminism zine, will lead a workshop on radical transfeminism and zine making. Centred on the needs of trans and non-binary femmes and women, radical transfeminism proposes understands that for many trans, non-binary and queer people, especially people of colour, ‘it doesn’t get better’, and therefore refuses neoliberal social inclusion. The workshop will be within in a closed space and provide the opportunity for discussion, writing and making. Participants are welcome to bring materials they have been working on, or materials to use for zine making such as images, writing, or anything they’d like to include or share with the group. The workshop is free to attend and specifically for trans, non-binary and queer identified people. There are a limited number of places and priority is given to people of colour please contact email@example.com for further info or to book a place. Following the workshop there, will be an informal public sharing with Nat performing some of her poetry. Workshop participants will also be able to perform or share work, but this is not a requirement of participation. Please contact Ray Bushell on firstname.lastname@example.org to book your place.
