What makes a good rebel? How can we fight prejudice and injustice against the LGBTQ+ community in the modern world? And just how can glittery drag nuns help? Join Novice Carmen Eileen from the worldwide non-profit organisation The Order of Perpetual Indulgence as she chats to fellow nun Novice Lotta Leftovers, and Sarah Barnard from the Society of Young Publishers/Black And White Publishing. Dive into the history of LGBTQ+ activism, learn about the growing LGBTQ+ YA book scene, and join the sparkliest revolution in town. Suitable for young adults (13+) and older. The first 30 tickets will be free and the remainder will be £3 each (with proceeds going to charity) - for more information on booking tickets, please contact the event organiser.
