Our Ede Book Reading and Signing with Hazel Stevens

November 22 | 13:00 - 14:30

Glasgow Adults Panel Event / Author Reading, Storytelling History, Romance

Ede is a young girl growing up in the 1950s and 60s. Very much against her father's wishes, she rebels, wishing to follow her own chosen career in a male-dominated profession. Hazel Stevens, author of the book, will read extracts from it and tell you what inspired her to write the novel. Afterwards there will be a discussion on how career choices for women have changed over the decades, and have they? A book signing will follow. This free event fits in with the Book Week Scotland theme of 'rebel'. It is suitable for adults young and old.

Free (unticketed)
