Meet the Author: David Munro

Hawick Library are hosting an Author with David Munro. David is the author of several Fantasy Fiction adventure thrillers with a Scottish theme. He is currently writing his sixth novel. David’s love of history allows him to delve into past cultures and pinnacle events. His fifth novel, EARTHMAN, is set in 1962, telling a story of adventure, mystery and romance.

David will talk about his path from business professional to author. How do you begin to write a book? What influences him and how are plots formulated? Is there a particular story structure used? Is there a theme throughout the novels? He will also discuss the trials and tribulations of getting a book published.
