Maggie O'Farrell in Conversation with Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister of Scotland

November 22 | 19:30 - 21:00

Stirling Adults Panel Event / Author Reading Local Interest

Come and join two of the nation’s most notable women, the First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon and the award-winning author Maggie O’Farrell, to celebrate Book Week Scotland 2018. Taking place in the spectacular Great Hall at Stirling Castle, this will be a conversation to remember; a unique opportunity to hear from these two fascinating women, as they discuss life, work and the books that have made them who they are today. There will be insights into Maggie’s work, particularly her most recent book I Am, I Am, I Am, an astonishing memoir of the near death experiences that have punctuated and defined her life; and a wider conversation about what feminism and rebellion means to them. If you need any more reason to be excited, books will also be on sale on the night and there will be a chance to have your book signed after the event!

We look forward to welcoming you in from the cold for what promises to be an enlightening evening, one not to be missed!
