Isle of Gigha All Ages Book Fair / Book Swap, Exhibition Gaelic, Local Interest, Scottish Writers

Gigha Gallery presents Sly Cooking - an exhibition of etchings by Catriona Black, available as a book illustrating unique Gaelic words. There will be a pop up second-hand bookstall throughout the week (19-25 November) courtesy of The Old Bookshelf from Campbeltown, as well as readings and talks from local authors about books on Gigha and Kintyre, fishing tales and wildlife poetry. On Friday 23rd from 12pm there will be a read-through of the screenplay The Prisoner of St Kilda, based on the book of the same name. Come along and read a part or just listen. On Saturday 24th, there will be poems and pints from 8pm.
