November 21 | 18:00 - 19:00

Dundee Adults Panel Event / Author Reading Crime

James Oswald is the author of the Sunday Times best-selling Inspector McLean series of detective mysteries. The first two of these, Natural Causes and The Book of Souls, were both shortlisted for the prestigious CWA Debut Dagger Award. James has also written a classic fantasy series, the Ballad of Sir Benfro, inspired by the language and folklore of Wales. This year, James has written No Time To Cry, the first in a new series featuring Detective Constable Constance Fairchild, another cop who doesn't follow the rules! James will be in conversation with Russel D McLean, crime writer, editor and general miscreant. Russel is the author of the Dundee-based J. McNee series of crime novels and the standalone novels And When I Die and Ed's Dead. Russel's latest modern noir was a hit with Martina Cole, who said it was 'a really authentic and remarkable read! I loved it!' Refreshments will be available.
