Haddington Adults Film History, Travel

A film by Denis Villeneuve, 2010 - Running Time: 2hrs 10mins This Oscar nominated film tells the story of Canadian twins who make a life-altering discovery following the death of their mother. They travel to their mother's native country in the Middle East to uncover the truth about their mystery-shrouded past amidst a bloody civil war. While the country is unnamed, the events in the film are heavily influenced by the Lebanese Civil War. This thriller demonstrates how senseless and futile it is to hate others because of their religion.
